Hi everyone!

I want to share with you some of my favorite crafts.  I love to watch the birds out my window. It brings back memories of my grandparents watching birds out their window for hours. I remember them watching and following the different kinds of birds. My grandfather would come up with neat and innovative ways to keep the squirrels out of the feeder. Sorry squirrel these are for the birds.

So here's my solution!

Valentines Day Cards

White Valentine's Day card:
To start this project you will need two pieces of whisper white card stock:
1. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Score at 4 1/4")
2. 5 1/4" x 4 1/4".
3. Take the 5 1/4 x 4.1/4 piece of white card stock and stamp your sentiment on front. Then run the card stock through the big shot machine using the Falling Petals embossing folder. 
4. Using the blooming hearts framelit to cut your heart from red glimmer paper. And using white glimmer paper cut your flowers. Use glue dots to affix the flowers to the red heart, and using Stampin' Up dimensional attach the heart to the front of card.
5. Then use the pearls to accent the flowers. Color can be added to pearls using a red marker.
 
Red Valentine's Day card:
To start this project you will need one piece of whisper white card stock for and 4 1/4 x 11 (score at 5 1/2). Then you will need a piece of real red card stock 4 x 5 1/4.
 
1.  Take the red piece of card stock and run it through the big shot machine using your happy hearts embossing folder.
2. Using the blooming hearts thinlits cut the heart from your white glimmer paper, and using the red glimmer paper cut the flowers. Use glue dots to affix the flowers to the white heart and attach to your card. Use the pearls to accent the flowers.
3. Using the Blooming' Love stamp set, stamp your banner and stamp your sentiment. Using the dies from the Large Numbered framelits cut out your the banner using the big shot machine. 
5. Use white ribbon to go around your red card stock BEFORE attaching it to the white card stock.

New Years Card!

 This New Years card was created with the Star Blast Edgelits, Birthday Blast Stamp set from the Occations 2017 Catalog, Large Number Framelits and Lucky Stars embossing folder. 

Card measurements  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Card stock:

Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheet, and Whisper White Card Stock.

Here's a helpful tip when applying the numbers to your card:

  1. Take your card stock, arrange your numbers the way you want them to appear on your card.  Using the Big Shot cut a set of numbers out of Gold Foil Sheet and Basic Black Card Stock
  2. Glue Gold foil numbers to Black numbers leaving 1/16" offset.
  3. Emboss your Whisper White Card stock using the Lucky Stars embossing folder.
  4. Cut the Star Blast design Edgelits out of Gold Foil paper.
  5. Stamp your sentiment using the marker technique (to eliminate the "you" on stamp).

More Graduation Cards

The first Graduation Card was created with the Large Number Framelits. Card measurements  4 1/4" x 5 1/2". 

Here's a helpful tip when applying the numbers to your card:

  1. Take your card stock, arrange your numbers the way you want them to appear on your card.
  2. After numbers are cut, use the template that the numbers were cut from to place and glue your numbers on your card.  No measuring, no mess and perfect alignment!

Then wait for it..... use your left over template for another card.  No waste, and its two cards for the price of one!

Start with black card stock 4 1 /4" x 11". 

Then cut 3 pieces of white card stock 4" x 5 1/4",2 1/2" x 4", 2" x 4"

Score card stock at 2 1/2" & 5 1/2".

Salutations from the Party Wishes Stamp set & Sky Is The Limit Stamp set.

Using the Large Number Framelits cut out 2016.

Card measures 4 1 /4" x 5 1/2".
